Carl’s Crab Shack is run by Carl Silverton. It’s a mainstay along the Myrtle River. Grab the lures you need, find a guide for hunting or fishing, or rent a boat to go out crabbing.

Will works here. After his prowess in the 4th of July dingy race, Carl worked it where Will could go out on the boats. Ana loves to come down to the docks near the crab shack and think on her dad’s boat, The Harrier.

The Real Crab Shack

Yep, there’s really a crab shack on the Southern Oregon Coast. Tony’s Crab Shack in Bandon is the inspiration for the crab shack. Tony’s has all kinds of lures, but in the last several years, he’s been more known for good seafood. If you go crabbing in the Coquille River, you can have them cook your crab for a minimal fee.
