Not really a fantasy fan
My favorite fantasy story is definitely “Till We Have Faces” by C. S. Lewis.
Ooh, I don’t know if I’ve read that one! What is it about?
I love the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe; not sure that’s fantasy or not?
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is definitely fantasy! I love it too. I have my Spanish 3/4 class walk through it and we discuss translation issues. It also gives me a chance to introduce it to high school students.
I love to read fantasy, and I do love Terry Brooks. But, my favorite is the Lord of the Rings series.
I like Terry Brooks as well. I think there is no other master of fantasy, though, than Tolkein and Lewis.
i like The Borrowers if that is considered fantasy
I love The Borrowers! Probably not fantasy in the strictest sense, because there is no magic, but I’ll accept it. 🙂
My favorite fantasy would have to be The Hobbit.
It’s hard to pick just one, but I really loved The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie.
Tara Woods
Hm, I’ve never heard of that one. What is it about?
lord of the rings
I love The Inheritance cycle, esp the first, Eragon, by Christopher Paolini.
Ah, yes. My family liked that one too. I had a van full of angry kids and adults after seeing the movie. They went over every little detail that was missing or wrong from the book.
