Well, I never dreamed of being a published author before.  I wrote from the time I was little.  I loved reading, and so, creating stories was a natural step.  Six years ago, I was amazed that stories were pouring forth onto the computer screen.  The Dragons of the Four Corners series took shape.  In February I attended the South Coast Writer’s Conference in Gold Beach, Oregon.  As a result I met Tess Thompson a published author with Booktrope in Seattle.  She said they were looking for authors.  So, I took the step and submitted a manuscript.  As of today, I am a member of Booktrope.  They accepted my first story Dragon’s Future .  So, now for the process of editing and publishing.  I am both scared and excited at the same time.  I think I understand my husband’s feelings when he booked his first wedding to photograph.  It’s the same feeling.
