Why Does Love of Family Really Matter?

Author Kandi J Wyatt Posted on June 30, 2016 by Kandi J WyattJune 30, 2016

Awesome Author Events for Kandi J Wyatt

Author Kandi J Wyatt Posted on June 23, 2016 by Kandi J WyattJune 23, 2016

I opened to chapter nine of Dragon’s Revenge and began to read of the men of the Carr. After a few pages, I found myself immersed in the land. The characters came alive in my mind. My voice adapted to their voices and accent. And that is when it happened. That Yizma moment. “Is this my book? Is this my book?”

Do you take for granted the fascinating place you live?

Author Kandi J Wyatt Posted on June 19, 2016 by Kandi J WyattJune 19, 2016

I’ve often had my students create a brochure of their town as if it would go to the visitor’s center for Spanish speaking people who come through. Maybe one of these days, I’ll make the assignment actually get published for the visitor’s center. However, I’ve heard the complaints. “We don’t have anything special here.” “What’s the big deal about our town?” I can understand. We get lost in what we know. The everyday loses its appeal. But every town has something special.

Gnats, Flies and Kids–Are they similar?

Author Kandi J Wyatt Posted on June 12, 2016 by Kandi J WyattJune 12, 2016

Today in church, I sat next to my second youngest son as our class discussed the plagues of Egypt. A question was raised. How well do we pass our faith on to our kids? How do we do it? The class came up with five helpful points.

Author Kandi J Wyatt Posted on May 22, 2016 by Kandi J WyattMay 22, 2016
img="author writing alone in nature"

I’ve had several people ask how I do it. How do I come up with these stories? I thought I’d share with you what is currently going through my brain about a new idea. I can get an idea from a sign, from someone else, or from watching television.
