Author Kandi J Wyatt Posted on October 30, 2016 by Kandi J WyattOctober 30, 2016

When fantasy focuses on fear, dark magic, and evil over good, then it’s time to reevaluate if I should be reading it.

4 Secrets for Planning an Awesome Family Night

Author Kandi J Wyatt Posted on October 17, 2016 by Kandi J WyattOctober 17, 2016

Fall is my mom’s favorite time of the year. She pulls out her leaves, pumpkins, and scarecrows and decorates the house. Probably because of this background, when the weather turns rainy and cool, I want to go inside and curl up with candles and a warm fire. It’s this weather that calls to me for family nights.

What Is Wrong with Grey Hair?

Author Kandi J Wyatt Posted on September 5, 2016 by Kandi J WyattSeptember 5, 2016

This last week, I saw a post about grey hair. The discussion was for women on looking natural and embracing who they were at any age. As the Facebook discussion moved along, I realized the arguments really had nothing to do with the color of hair, but about how each person perceived age and beauty.

Why do we forget our promise to love?

Author Kandi J Wyatt Posted on July 18, 2016 by Kandi J WyattJuly 18, 2016

How many of us who are married really understood those vows on our wedding day? Did we truly realize that we were saying we’d stick with this other person until our dying days? If so, why then are one-third of the 2.3 million people being married each year being re-married? The same amount of people being married in the wedding season are on a second or third marriage!

How to Survive and Thrive on Family Road Trips

Author Kandi J Wyatt Posted on July 11, 2016 by Kandi J WyattJuly 11, 2016

The term road trip gives off different inuendos. To the college age student, it’s the idea of carefree fun without a worry in the world. It may even include friends. For the retired couple, it implies a RV and sightseeing. But for families, the idea of a road trip can cause great distress. How can you survive the constant bickering, ‘are we there yet’s, and whining of a road trip with kids?

Gnats, Flies and Kids–Are they similar?

Author Kandi J Wyatt Posted on June 12, 2016 by Kandi J WyattJune 12, 2016

Today in church, I sat next to my second youngest son as our class discussed the plagues of Egypt. A question was raised. How well do we pass our faith on to our kids? How do we do it? The class came up with five helpful points.

How to Connect with Your Teen and Pre-Teen

Author Kandi J Wyatt Posted on April 3, 2016 by Kandi J WyattApril 3, 2016
