Formatting can be a big chunk of your time. It takes some technology know-how, and sometimes, you want to pull your hair out in frustration. So much so that for the first five six years of my publishing career, I paid someone else to do it for me!

But in 2021, that changed. I gained time (that happens when you have a broken ankle) and learned how to format a novella. Since then, I’ve been formatting my own novels, and recently I learned how to create special edition versions complete with chapter art and other wonderful additions.
